In a significant administrative update, it has been confirmed that Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Shri Maninder Singh, of the 1989 Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has been officially relieved from his tenure in the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Following this relief, Shri Singh has successfully returned to his parent cadre. This administrative decision, conveyed by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, effectively renders any previous proposals or discussions regarding his posting unnecessary, as his status has now been finalized within his original cadre.
