In a recent development, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given its nod to a significant personnel movement within the Indian Administrative Service. Shri Rathod Sandeep Rewaji, an IAS officer from the 2009 batch (Tripura cadre), has been approved for an inter-cadre deputation to the Maharashtra cadre. This move, undertaken on personal grounds, will see the officer serving in Maharashtra for a period of three years. Such deputations are integral to the dynamic nature of public service, allowing for diverse experience and knowledge sharing across state administrations while also accommodating personal circumstances of dedicated civil servants.
