In a significant move impacting civil service appointments, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted an extension for the inter-cadre deputation of Shri Joram Beda, an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 batch. Originally from the Punjab cadre, Shri Beda will continue his deputation to the AGMUT cadre, specifically serving the Arunachal Pradesh segment. This extension, approved in the public interest, adds an additional three months to his tenure, effective beyond January 21, 2019, ensuring continuity in his assigned roles within the Arunachal Pradesh administration.
