In a significant move concerning civil service postings, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted ex-post facto approval for the premature repatriation of Shri Ajay Yadav, an IAS officer of the 2010 batch. Originally from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, Shri Yadav will now return to the Tamil Nadu cadre.
