Approval for Premature Repatriation of IAS Officer Shri Ajay Yadav

A

In a significant move concerning civil service postings, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted ex-post facto approval for the premature repatriation of Shri Ajay Yadav, an IAS officer of the 2010 batch. Originally from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, Shri Yadav will now return to the Tamil Nadu cadre. This decision was made prior to the completion of his inter-cadre deputation tenure, with the repatriation officially taking effect from September 30, 2019. An earlier communication regarding this move had initially cited an effective date of September 30, 2020, which has since been corrected to reflect the earlier date.
