Extension of Inter-Cadre Deputation for IPS Officer Shri Vivek Raj Singh

E

In a recent decision by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, an inter-cadre deputation for a senior Indian Police Service officer has been extended. Shri Vivek Raj Singh, an IPS officer from the 2006 batch, originally of the Assam-Meghalaya Cadre, will continue his deputation to the Madhya Pradesh Cadre for an additional two years. This extension comes after a proposal from the Ministry of Home Affairs, acknowledging personal hardship circumstances. The officer’s initial three-year deputation was set to conclude on October 25, 2020, and this approval ensures his continued service in Madhya Pradesh.
