Approval for Inter-Cadre Transfer of IAS Officer Sonika Kumari

A

A recent administrative decision has seen the approval of an inter-cadre transfer for an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. Ms. Sonika Kumari, from the 2022 batch, has been transferred from the West Bengal cadre to the Rajasthan cadre. This transfer was granted due to her marriage to Shri Bhaisare Shubham Ashok, also an IAS officer of the 2022 batch, currently serving in the Rajasthan cadre. The decision adheres to an order issued by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi, on December 19, 2023, highlighting a commitment to facilitating family unification for civil servants.
