Subject: Empanelment of IPS officers of 1986 batch for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent level under the Central Staffing Scheme (Initial).
The undersigned is directed to refer to O.M. No. 1-28015/02/08-IPS-IV dated 29.12.08 of Ministry of Home Affairs on the subject mentioned above and to inform as detailed in following paragraphs.
- The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of the following 46 officers of 1986 batch of Indian Police Service for holding the post of Joint Secretary/equivalent under the Central Staffing Scheme.

- The proposal of next batch i.e., Indian Police Service of 1987 batch has already been received in this office Vide OM No. 1-28015/02/2022-IPS-IV dated 20.1.2011. However, the following information has not been furnished:-
(a) Soft copy (MS-Excel) and hard copy of grading of each officers in the format indicated in Annexure-1.
(b) Vigilance clearance with CVC comments.
(c) Gender (Male/Female) and category (SC/ST/General) status of all officers in the batch.
- It is requested that upto date ACR dossiers of officers of 1987 batch of IPS including ACRs of 2009-10 alongwith the information indicated above may be furnished at the earliest.
