Subject: Empanelment of IFS officers of 1986 batch for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent level under the Central Staffing Scheme (Initial).
The undersigned is directed to refer to O.M. No. 12034/04/2008.IFS.II dated 1st August, 2008 of Ministry of Environment & Forests on the subject mentioned above and to inform as detailed in following paragraphs.
- The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of the following 45 officers of 1986 batch of Indian Forest Service for holding the post of Joint Secretary/equivalent under the Central Staffing Scheme.

- The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet deferred the consideration of Sh. C.P. Goyal (IFS: 86), UP due to his pending Vigilance status.
- The cases of 23 officers have not been taken up as their dossiers are incomplete. (copy enclosed)
- The proposal of next batch i.e., Indian Forest Service of 1987 batch may be sent with following information: (a) Up to date dossiers of all officers including ACRs of 2009-10. (b) Soft copy (MS-Excel) on separate sheet of each officer and hard copy of grading of each officer in formal indicated in Annexure-I. (c) Vigilance clearance with CVC comments. (d) Gender (Male/Female) and category of (SC/ST/General) status of all officers in the batch.
- The C.R. dossiers of the 98 officers (75+23 as mentioned in para 5) are returned herewith. Receipt of the C.R. dossiers may please be acknowledged.
