Subject: Empanelment of Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officers of 1983 batch for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent under the Central Staffing Scheme – (initial).
The undersigned is directed to refer to Ministry of Railways O.M.No.2010/SCC/20/01 at 2.12.2010 on the subject mentioned above and to inform that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved empanelment of the following 4 officers of 1983 batch of Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent under the Central Staffing Scheme:

- The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet did not approve empanelment of Shri Sanjay Suri of 1983 batch of Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre.
- The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has deferred consideration of empanelment of Shri Chaman Lal Bharti of 1983 batch of Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS)on account of his pending vigilance status.
- The C.R. dossiers of 6 officers mentioned in paras 2.3 and 4 above are returned herewith. Receipt of the C.R. dossiers may please be acknowledged.
