OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Empanelment of Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officers of 1983 batch for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent under the Central Staffing Scheme – (initial).
The undersigned is directed to refer to Ministry of Railways O.M.No.2010/SCC/20/01 dated 24.11.2010 at the subject mentioned above and to state that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved empanelment of the following 5 officers of 1983 batch of Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent under the Central Staffing Scheme:

- The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet did not approve the empanelment of Smt. Shangari Pragya of 1983 batch of IRAS for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre.
- The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet deferred the consideration of empanelment of the following 3 officers on account of their pending vigilance status:

- The name of Smt. Apala Singh, IRAS.83 could not be considered as she has less than 4 years to superannuate, as per existing guidelines.
- The ACR dossier of Shri K V B Reddy, IRAS.83 was not received.
- The ACR dossiers of the 10 officers mentioned in paragraphs 1, 2, 3 and 4 above are returned herewith, which may be acknowledged.
