The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of two IAS officers, Rahul Sharma and Akash Tripathi, for holding posts at the Centre. Rahul Sharma, from the JH cadre and batch of 1998, has been empanelled at the AS/AS Equivalent level. Akash Tripathi, from the MP cadre and batch of 1998, has also been empanelled at the AS Equivalent level.
