Regulation of Deputation Tenure for Private Secretaries to Cabinet Ministers

This Office Memorandum addresses the regulation of deputation tenure for officers appointed as Private Secretaries to dignitaries who hold the rank of Union Cabinet Minister, but are not Ministers themselves. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved that these deputation tenures will now be governed by the provisions of DoP&T OM No.6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010.

Subject: Regulation of deputation tenure of officers appointed as Private Secretary to the dignitaries who hold the rank of Union Cabinet Minister but are not Ministers.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved that the deputation tenure of officers appointed as Private Secretary to the dignitaries who hold the rank of Union Cabinet Minister but are not Ministers shall, hereafter, be regulated in terms of the provisions of DoP&T OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-ill) dated 17.06.2010.
