This notification announces the appointment of two officers from the State Civil Service to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre. These appointments, effective from the Review Select Lists of 2004 and 2005, are made in accordance with the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, and the (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955. The decision follows orders from the Hon’ble CAT, Chandigarh Bench, and is subject to the outcome of a CWP. The officers will be on probation until further orders.

NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of the order dated 17.08 .2009 of the Hon’ble CAT, Chandigarh Bench in O.A.No. 63-CH-2009 filed by Shri A.L. Garg \& batch and also in compliance of the order dated 03.06.2010 of the Hon’ble CAT, Chandigarh Bench in OA No. 91/CH/2010 and, in exercise of powers conferred by Rule 8(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, read with Regulation 9(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, and in partial modification of earlier notification issued on $4^{\text {th }}$ December, 2008 notifying the appointment of State Civil Service officers included in the Review Select Lists of 1992-93 to 2006, the President is pleased to appoint the following members of the State Civil Service of to the Indian Administrative Service against the vacancies determined by Government of India under Regulation 5(1) of the said Regulations in consultation with the State Government on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Review Select Lists for the year 2004 and 2005 on probation until further orders and to allocate them to Cadre of IAS, under Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 :-
