Indian Administrative Service Appointments from Gujarat Civil Service for Select List Year 2010

I

This notification announces the appointment of two officers from the Non-State Civil Service of Gujarat to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). These appointments are made against vacancies determined for the Select List year 2010, based on relevant recruitment and probation rules. NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 8(2) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954 read with Regulation 8 of the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Selection) Regulations, 1997 and Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, the President is pleased to appoint the following members of the Non-State Civil Service of Gujarat to the Indian Administrative Service against the vacancies determined by Government of India under Regulation 3 of the said Regulations in consultation with the State Government for the Select List year 2010, on probation until further orders and to allocate him to the Gujarat Cadre, under Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954:
