This official notification announces the appointment of several members of the Gujarat State Civil Service to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). The appointments are made under the provisions of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, and the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, read with Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954. भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (पदोन्नति द्वारा नियुक्ति) विनियमावली, 1955 के विनियम 9 (1) तथा भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परीवीक्षा) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 3 के साथ पटित भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (भर्ती) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 8(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राष्ट्रपति, राज्य सरकार के परामर्श से उक्त विनियमावली के विनियम 5(1) के अंतर्गत भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित 2009 की रिक्तियों पर भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा में गुजरात राज्य सिविल सेवा के निम्नलिखित सदस्यों को अगले आदेशों तक, परियीक्षा पर नियुक्त करती है तथा भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संघर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5(1) के अंतर्गत गुजरात संघर्ग में उनका आबंटन करती है :-
