This notification, issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, announces the transfer of Dr. Adarsh Singh from the Manipur-Tripura cadre to the Uttar Pradesh cadre of the Indian Administrative Service. This transfer is based on Rule 5(2) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and is in consultation with the governments of Manipur, Tripura, and Uttar Pradesh. The reason for the transfer is stated as the marriage of Ms. Sheetal Verma, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (Uttar Pradesh: 07). The concerned state government is directed to relieve Dr. Adarsh Singh as per their administrative convenience, but no later than September 2011.

भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5 के उप नियम (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और मणिपुर, त्रिपुरा तथा उत्तर प्रदेश सरकारों के परामर्श से केन्द्र सरकार सुश्री शीतल वर्मा, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (उत्तर प्रदेश: 07) से विवाह हो जाने के आधार पर डॉ॰ आदर्श सिंह, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (मणिपुर-त्रिपुरा: 07) का मणिपुर-त्रिपुरा संवर्ग से उत्तर प्रदेश संवर्ग में स्थानांतरण एतदद्वारा इस निदेश के साथ करती है कि राज्य सरकार उस अधिकारी को अपनी प्रशासनिक सुविधा के अनुसार, लेकिन सितम्बर, 2011 तक कार्यमुक्त कर दें।
