This notification announces the transfer of Ms. Shilpa, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the West Bengal cadre (08) to the Madhya Pradesh cadre (09). The transfer is based on her marriage to Mr. Ajay Gupta, also an IAS officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre (09). The decision is made by the Central Government, exercising powers conferred by Rule 5(2) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, with the consent of the governments of West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. The notification is dated June 1, 2011, and signed by Narendra Gautam, Under Secretary, Government of India.
