Extension of Inter Cadre Deputation for IAS Officer Narendra Bahadur Singh Rajput

A notification has been issued regarding the extension of inter cadre deputation for Shri Narendra Bahadur Singh Rajput, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. With the approval of the Governments of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh, and in accordance with the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government has granted an extension of two years for his deputation from the Orissa cadre to the Madhya Pradesh cadre. This decision is to be published in the Gazette of India, Part I Section II. The notification also includes forwarding for necessary action to various chief secretaries and accountants general, specifying that the officer’s pay should not be drawn beyond the approved deputation period, which is now extended up to 3.11.2013. Furthermore, the officer has been cautioned that disciplinary action and break in service may occur if he fails to hand over charge at the end of the extended deputation period.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the Governments of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh, the Central Govt. hereby accords approval for extension of inter cadre deputation of Shri Narendra Bahadur Singh Rajput, IAS (OR:99) from Orissa to Madhya Pradesh cadre for a period of two years.
