This notification announces the appointment of Mr. Arun, an officer from the non-state civil service of Jharkhand, to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). This appointment is made under Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, in conjunction with Rule 8 of the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Selection) Regulations, 1997, and Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954. It is in compliance with the orders issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court on December 7, 2010, and February 23, 2011, in Civil Appeal No. 2243/2010. Mr. Arun has been allocated to the Jharkhand cadre under Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954. The notification is dated January 2012 and issued from New Delhi.

राष्ट्रपति, झारखण्ड सरकार द्वारा दायर सी. ए. सं. 2243/2010 में माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय द्वारा दिनांक 07.12 .2010 और 23.02 .2011 को दिए गए आदेश के अनुक्रम में और भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (चयन द्वारा नियुक्ति) विलियमावली, 1997 के विलियम 8 और भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परिवीक्षा) लियमावली, 1954 के लियम 3 के साथ पंडित भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (भर्ती) लियमावली, 1954 के लियम 8 (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, वर्ष 2002 की प्रवर सूची के लिए राज्य सरकार के परामर्श से उपर्युक्त विलियमावली के विलियम 3 के अंतर्गत भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित रिक्तियों के लिए झारखण्ड के गैर-राज्य सिविल सेवा के अधिकारी श्री अरुण को भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा में नियुक्त करते हैं तथा उन्हें भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) लियमावली, 1954 के लियम 5(1) के अन्तर्गत झारखण्ड संवर्ग आवंटित करते हैं ।
