Fixation of Seniority and Year of Allotment for IAS Officers Promoted from Select List 2004-A

F

This document details the fixation of seniority and year of allotment for officers promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the Select List of 2004-A. It references previous government letters and applies Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, to determine these placements. The document presents a table listing officers, their service details in lower ranks, their weighted service years, and their assigned year of allotment. Notably, most officers from this list have been assigned 1996 as their year of allotment, with some specific placements relative to other officers in different batches and recruitment types. The order is to be communicated to the concerned officers, and a request is made to place it on the ministry’s website.
