अधिसूचना भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (पदोन्नति दवारा नियुक्ति) विनियमावली, 1955 के विनियम 9(1) और भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परिवीक्षा) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 3 के साथ पठित भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (भर्ती) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 8(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राष्ट्रपति, राज्य सरकार के परामर्श से उक्त विनियमावली के विनियम 5(1) के अंतर्गत भारत सरकार दवारा निर्धारित 2012 की चयन सूची के लिए गुजरात राज्य सिविल सेवा के सदस्यों को परिवीक्षा आधार पर अगले आदेशों तक नियुक्त करते हैं और उन्हें भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5(1) के तहत गुजरात संवर्ग आवंटित करते हैं :-
