This notification officially announces the approval for Smt. Vinita Vasudev Vaid, an IAS officer from the 1996 batch, to change her name to “Smt. Vinita Vaid Singhal.” Henceforth, she will be officially known by her new name for all government purposes. The notification is issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, and is dated August 23, 2017.
