This notification announces that in accordance with the Central Vigilance Commission Act, 2003, Sharad Kumar, Vigilance Commissioner, has been authorized by the President to function as the Central Vigilance Commissioner. This appointment is effective from June 10, 2019, and will continue until the formal appointment of the new Central Vigilance Commissioner, filling the vacancy left by K.V. Chowdary.

का.आ. 1937(अ).—राष्ट्रपति, केन्द्रीय सतर्कता आयोग अधिनियम, 2003 (2003 का 45) की धारा 10 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, श्री शरद कुमार, सतर्कता आयुक्त, केन्द्रीय सतर्कता आयोग को श्री के.बी. चौधरी, केन्द्रीय सतर्कता आयुक्त की पदावधि पूरी होने के कारण हुई रिक्ति पर, तारीख 10 जून, 2019 से केन्द्रीय सतर्कता आयुक्त की नियुक्ति होने तक, केन्द्रीय सतर्कता आयुक्त के रूप में कार्य करने के लिए प्राधिकृत करते हैं।

Commissioner, Central Vigilance Commission, to act as the Central Vigilance Commissioner, in the vacancy caused due to completion of the tenure of Shri K.V. Chowdary, Central Vigilance Commissioner, with effect from the $10^{\text {th }}$ day of June, 2019, until the appointment of the Central Vigilance Commissioner.
