This notification confirms five officers from the Punjab cadre into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). The officers, who underwent training, are now permanently inducted into the IAS with effect from January 24, 2020. The confirmation is made in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 3-A of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954.
