Amendment to Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966 for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

A

New regulations have been issued to amend the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966. These amendments specifically update the cadre strength for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The detailed breakdown for Andhra Pradesh includes total senior duty posts, central deputation reserve, state deputation reserve, training reserve, leave and junior posts reserve, posts filled by promotion, and posts filled by direct recruitment, resulting in a total authorized strength. Similarly, the regulations provide a revised cadre strength breakdown for Telangana, covering the same categories and culminating in a new total authorized strength. These changes come into effect upon their publication in the Official Gazette. Prior to this notification, the total authorized strength for the Andhra Pradesh Indian Forest Service Cadre was 149. The Principal Regulations themselves were originally notified in 1966.
