सा.का.नि. 131(अ).— केन्द्र सरकार, अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 61) की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राज्य सरकारों में परामर्श करने के उपरांत भारतीय वन सेवा (परिवीक्षा) नियमावली, 1968 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, नामतः-

1. (1) इन नियमों को भारतीय वन सेवा (परिवीक्षा) संशोधन नियमावली, 2017 कहा जा सकेगा।
   (2) ये, शासकीय राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।

2. भारतीय वन सेवा (परिवीक्षा) नियमावली, 1968 में, नियम 8 के उपनियम (1) में परंतुक हटाया जाएगा।

G.S.R. 131(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, after consultation with the State Governments, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Forest Service (Probation) Rules, 1968, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Forest Service (Probation) Amendment Rules, 2017.
   (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Forest Service (Probation) Rules, 1968, the proviso in sub-rule (1) of rule 8 shall be omitted.
