सं. का.नि. 81(अ).- भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 4 के उप-नियम (1) और (2) के साथ पटित अखिल भारतीय सेवाएं अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 61) की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार गुजरात सरकार के परामर्श से भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (संवर्ग पद संख्या का नियतन) विनियमावली, 1955 में आगे और संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाती है, अर्थात् :-

1. (1) इन विनियमों का नाम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (संवर्ग पद संख्या का नियतन) द्वितीय संशोधन विनियमावली, 2017 कहा जा सकेगा

(2) ये विनियम शासकीय राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे

1. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (संवर्ग पद संख्या का नियतन) विनियमावली, 1955 की अनुसूची में “गुजरात” शीर्षक तथा उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, नामतः-

(1) टिप्पणी: इस अधिसूचना के जारी होने के पूर्व गुजरात संबर्ग की कुल प्राधिकृत पद संख्या 195 थी
(2) टिप्पणी: प्रधान विनियम भारत के राजपत्र में दिनांक 22 अक्तूबर, 1995 की एसआरओ 3350 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे। तत्पश्चात् इन्हें निम्नलिखित जीएसआर सं. और दिनांक द्वारा गुजरात संबर्ग के लिए संशोधित किया गया था।

G.S.R. 81(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rules (1) and (2) of rule 4 of the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Gujarat, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, namely:-

1. (1) These Regulations may be called the Indian Police Service (Fixation of cadre

Strength) Second Amendment Regulations, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, in the Schedule, for the heading “Gujarat” and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted namely:-
“GUJARAT

Note (2): The principal regulations were published in the Gazette of India vide SRO No. 3350 dated $22^{\text {nd }}$ October 1955. These were subsequently amended in respect of the Gujarat Cadre by the following GSR No. and date:-

2. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (वेतन) नियमावली, 2016, अनुसूची II में, – (क) तालिका में राज्य सरकारों के अधीन भारतीय पुलिस सेवा के वरिष्ठ वेतनमान से ऊपर के वेतन वाले पदों से संबंधित -भाग क में, प्रथम कॉलम में आने वाली “गुजरात” प्रविष्टि तथा दूसरे कॉलम में आने वाली तद्नुरूपी प्रविष्टियों के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, नामतः- “गुजरात

(ख) वेतन के अतिरिक्त विशेष भर्त्त वाले पदों सहित राज्य सरकार के अधीन भारतीय पुलिस सेवा के वरिष्ठ वेतनमान में वेतन वाले पदों से संबंधित भाग ख में, तालिका में गुजरात के अधीन आने वाली प्रविष्टियों के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा,-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Police Service (Pay) Second Amendment Rules, 2017.
   (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Police Service (Pay) Rules, 2016, in schedule II,-
   (a) In Part A relating to posts carrying pay above the senior scale of pay of the Indian Police Service under the State Governments, in the table, for the entry “Gujarat” occurring in the first column and corresponding entries in the second column, the following shall be substituted namely:-
   “GUJARAT

(b) In Part B relating to posts carrying pay in the senior scale of the Indian Police Service under the State Governments including posts carrying special allowance in addition to pay, for the entries occurring under ‘Gujarat’ the following shall be substituted in the table,-
