In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the Governments of Assam-Meghalaya and Karnataka the Central Government hereby transfers Shri Rajendra Cholan, IAS (AM:2008) from Assam-Meghalaya cadre to Karnataka cadre on the ground of marriage to Ms. Deepa M., IAS (KN:08).
