In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the Governments of Uttarakhand and Punjab the Central Government hereby transfers Dr. Adapa Karthik, IAS (UK:08) from Uttarakhand cadre to Punjab cadre on the ground of marriage to Ms. Rupanjali Kalsia, IAS (PB:08).
