In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and with the concurrence of the Governments of Haryana and the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Central Govt. hereby accords approval for inter cadre deputation of Shri Anil Kumar, IAS (HY:88) from Haryana cadre to AGMUT cadre for appointment to the post of Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration for a period of three years with effect from the date of his reporting for duty.

  1. The Accountant General, Govt. of Haryana, Chandigarh. The inter cadre deputation is valid only for the period for which it is allowed by the Central Government and any extension is neither automatic nor should it be presumed. As such, the officer shall be entitled to draw salary etc. in the State to which he has been deputed only for the period for which he has been allowed deputation by the Govt. of India. He shall not be entitled to draw salary etc. after expiry of the period of deputation.
