In exercise of the power conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and with the concurrence of the Governments of Punjab and the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Central Govt. hereby accords approval for inter cadre deputation of Shri Vivek Pratap Singh, IAS (PB:96) from Punjab cadre to AGMUT cadre for appointment to the post of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh for a period of three years with effect from the date of his reporting for duty.
