The Ministry of Home Affairs vide their OM No. 14016/19/2012-UTS-I dated 20.12.2012 have requested to fix seniority/year of allotment of the officers who have been appointed to IAS (SCS category of Arunachal Pradesh Segment) by selection from the Select List of 2010 vide this Department’s notification No. 14015/2/2010-AIS (I)-B dated 11.1.2012. Promotion Desk has informed that for the select list year 2009 there was nil vacancy as such no select list for the year 2009 has been prepared.
2. In view of above, the proposal of the MHA has been considered and seniority /year of allotment of promotee IAS officers of Arunachal Pradesh segment of AGMUT cadre on the basis of select list of 2010 has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, and other relevant rules as amended from time to time . Details are given in the following table: –

3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer at S.No. 1 and 2 of the select list of 2010 shall be placed enblock below Shri G.L.Meena, the Junior most promotee IAS officer of 2002 batch of AGMUT cadre and above Shri Ankur Garg, the senior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2003 batch of AGMUT cadre.
3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer at S.No. 3 and 4 of the select list of 2010 shall be placed enblock below Shri More Ashish Madhaorao, the Junior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2005 batch of AGMUT cadre and above Ms. Prerna Puri, the senior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2006 batch of AGMUT cadre.
4. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
