The Government of Jharkhand vide their letter no. 1/c-212/2012-A-2200 dated $8^{\text {th }}$ March 2013 have sent a proposal for fixation of the seniority/year of allotment of officers appointed to IAS by Promotion from the Select List of 2008-A and 2009 prepared against the vacancies of 2008 and 2009 respectively. The same has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, and other relevant Rules as amended from time to time and is as shown in column no. 08 of the table, which follows:-

- As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the names of the officers at S.N. 1 to 8 of SL of 2008A shall be placed en-bloc below Shri Sunil Kumar, the junior most IAS officer of 1999 batch and above Ms. Puja Singhal, the senior most IAS officer of 2000 batch of Jharkhand Cadre.
- As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the names of the officers at S.N. 1 to 3 of SL of 2009 shall be placed en-bloc below Ms Puja Singhal, the only direct recruit IAS officer of 2000 batch and above Dr Amitabh Kausal, the only direct recruit IAS officer of 2001 batch of Jharkhand Cadre of IAS.
