The Government of India has approved the extension of the inter-cadre deputation of Shri Pallakonda Ramesh, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Rajasthan cadre, to the Andhra Pradesh cadre for a period of two years. This decision was made utilizing the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, and with the consent of both the Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh governments. The notification was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training within the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions on March 26, 2014.
