This notification announces the permanent absorption of four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the 1999 batch, West Bengal cadre. The officers – Ashok Bhattacharya, Akhtar Karim, Khalendra Mochary, and Rupendra Choudhury – have been confirmed in service effective April 5th, 2011, utilizing the powers conferred by Rule 3-K of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954. This decision was made by the President of India and communicated through the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परिवीक्षा) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 3-क द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राष्ट्रपति, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा के 1999 बैच के पश्चिम बंगाल राज्य संवर्ग के निम्नलिखित सदस्यों को उनके नाम के समक्ष दर्शाई गई तारीख से भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा में स्थायी करते हैं :-
