The Government of India has approved the inter-cadre deputation of Mrs. Kavita Singh, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer (PB:04) from the Punjab cadre to the AGMUT cadre (Chandigarh Administration). This appointment is for a period of three years, and she will serve as the Managing Director of Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation Limited (CITCO). The decision was made utilizing the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, with the concurrence of the Punjab Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 6(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और पंजाब सरकार और गृह मंत्रालय की सहमति से केन्द्र सरकार एतदवारा श्रीमती कविता सिंह, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (पीबी:04) की पंजाब संवर्ग से एजीएमयूट संवर्ग (चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन) में चंडीगढ़ औद्योगिक एवं पर्यटन विकास निगम लिमिटेड (सीआईटीसीओ) में प्रबंध निदेशक के रूप में नियुक्ति हेतु तीन वर्षों की अवधि के लिए अंतर संवर्गीय प्रतिनियुक्ति के प्रस्ताव को अनुमोदन प्रदान करती है।
