ORDER
The Government of Punjab vide their letter no. AIS(6)/2013/144360/320 dated 11.2.2015 has requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of officers, who were appointed to IAS by promotion (against SCS quota vacancies) on basis of Select List of 2013 vide this DOPT’s notification No. 14015/18/2014-AIS-I(B) dated 4.2.2015. The same has been considered and computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant Rules as amended from time to time. As per relevant rules weightage formula works out:-

- 1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. $1 \& 2$ of the select list of 2013 shall be placed below Shri Bhupinder Singh, Junior most promotee IAS officer of 2007 batch and above Shri Amit Kumar, the senior most RR IAS officer of Punjab Cadre of 2008 batch.
- 1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 3 to 5 of the select list of 2013 shall be placed below Shri Surpreet Singh Gulati, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2008 batch and above Shri Varinder Kumar Sharma, the senior most RR IAS officer of Punjab Cadre of 2009 batch.
- The order may be conveyed to the concerned officer.
