ORDER

The Government of Odisha vide their letter no. SER1-IAS-0007-2015-25763/AIS-I dated 30.19.2014 have sent a proposal for fixation of seniority of IAS officers appointed on promotion from SCS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the select list of 2014. These officers have been appointed to IAS vide this Department’s notification No. 14015/17/2015-AIS-I(B) dated 9.10.2015.

  1. The Seniority /year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 as amended from time to time. As per relevant rules weightage works out:-

3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 7 of the select list of 2014 shall be placed below Shri Ratnakar Rout, the promotee IAS officer of 2005 batch and above, Shri Roopa Roshan Sahu, the only RR IAS officer of 2006 batch of Odisha cadre.
3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. $8 \& 9$ of the select list of 2014 shall be placed below Shri Roopa Roshan Sahu, the only RR IAS officer of 2006 batch and above, Shri Arvind Agrawal, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2007 batch of Odisha cadre.
4. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
