ORDER
The Government of Meghalaya vide their letters No. PER.34/98/Pt.1/287 dated the 29th January, 2016 have requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of the SCS officers who were appointed to IAS by promotion on the basis of the Select List of 2014 vide this DOPT’s notification No. 14015/28/2014-AIS-I (B) dated 22nd January, 2016.
- The Seniority/year of allotment of the said officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

No. 1 to 3 of the select list of 2014 shall be placed below Shri H.B. Marak, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2005 batch (SL 2013) and above Shri Puru Gupta, senior most RR IAS officer of 2006 batch of Assam -Meghalaya Joint Cadre.
3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 4 of the select list of 2014 shall be placed below Shri Biswajit Pegu, junior most RR IAS officer of 2009 batch and above Shri Cyril V. Darlong Deingdoh, senior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch of Assam -Meghalaya Joint Cadre.
