ORDER

The Government of Chhattisgarh vide their letter no. E-1-1/2015/1/2 dated 17.2.2015 have sent a proposal for fixation of seniority of IAS officers appointed on promotion from State Civil Service (SCS) category on the basis of inclusion of their names in the select lists of 2013 and 2014 appointed to IAS vide notification No. 14015/05/2015-AIS-I (B) dated 2.11.2015 and No. 14015/05/2015-AIS (I)B dated $29^{\text {th }}$ December 2015. Shri Neelkanth Tikam (at SL no. 8 in the Select List of 2013) appointed to IAS of Select List of 2013 consequent upon declaration of his name as unconditional by Union Public Service Commission vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/05/2015-AIS(I)A dated 29.12.2015.
2. The Seniority /year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 7 of the select list of 2013 shall be placed below Ms. Shikha Rajput Tiwari, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2008 batch and above Dr(Ms) Priyanka Shukla, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2009 batch of Chhattisgarh cadre.

4.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 5 of the select list of 2014 shall be placed below Shri Saurabh Kumar, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2009 batch and above Shri Jai Prakash Maurya, senior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch of Chhattisgarh cadre.
4. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
