ORDER
The Government of Maharashtra vide their letter no. AIS-1016/CR187/2016/X dated 2.4.2016 has requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of officers, who were appointed to IAS by promotion (against SCS quota) on basis of Select List of 2013 and 2014 vide DOPT’s notification No 14015/14/2015-AIS-I(B) dated 29.3.2016.
- The same has been considered and computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant Rules as amended from time to time. As per relevant rules weightage formula is given below:-

- 1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 5 of the select list of 2013 shall be placed enbloc below Shri Dheeraj Kumar, Junior most RR IAS officer of 2005 batch and above Shri Abhishk Krishna, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2006 batch of Maharashtra cadre.
- 2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 6 to 8 of the select list of 2013 shall be placed enbloc below Shri Deependra Singh Kushwah, Junior most RR IAS officer of 2006 batch and above Dr. V.N. Suryawanshi, the senior most promotee IAS officer (Non-SCS category) of 2006 batch of Maharashtra cadre.
- 3 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 9 to 17 of the select list of 2013 shall be placed enbloc below Dr. Nirupama J. Dange, junior most RR IAS officer of 2007 batch and above Shri Abhay A. 1. 1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 11 and 12 of the select list of 2014 shall be placed below Shri G. Sreekanth, the Junior most RR IAS officer of 2009 batch and above Dr. Kadambari Balkawade, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch of Maharashtra cadre.
1. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
