ORDER

Shri Vijay Kumar Dhurve and Km Reeta Shandilya State Civil Service Officers of Chhattisgarh were appointed to IAS vide notification No. 14015/5/2010-AIS(I)-B dated 10.5.2011 for the Select of 2009A(Vacancies of 2009). Their Seniority of allotment were also fixed vide order of even number dated 16.4.2013. However, the officers represented that date of their continuous appointment in the grade of Deputy Collector is 7.11 .1985 and 13.6.1988 respectively which appears to be inter changed in the said order dated 16.4.2013 and needs rectification.
2. In connection with comments/clarification sought by this Department on the representations of these officers, the Government of Chhattisgarh vide their letter dated 13.5.2016 has intimated that continuous appointment of Shri Vijay Kumar Dhurve and Km. Reeta Shandilya in the post of Deputy Collector is 07.11 .1985 and 13.06 .1988 respectively. The matter has been considered and the seniority /year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, as amended from time to time as under:-

3.2. As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at Sr. No. 2 for the Select List of 2009A shall be placed below Ms Kangale Reena Babasaheb, the junior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2003 batch and above Ms. Sangeetha P., the senior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2004 batch of Chhattisgarh Cadre.
4. This supersedes this Department’s order of even number dated 16.4.2014.
5. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
