ORDER

The Government of Meghalaya vide their letter No.PER.6/2016/Pt/30 dated the 5th January, 2017 have requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of the SCS officer who was appointed to IAS by promotion on the basis of the Select List of 2015 vide this DOPT’s notification No. 14015/28/2016-AIS-I (B) dated 14th September, 2016.

  1. The Seniority/year of allotment of the said officer has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 of the select list of 2015 shall be placed below Shri Ryntihlang Rapthap, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2009 batch (SL 2014) and above Shri Cyril V. Darlong Deingdoh, senior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch of Assam-Meghalaya Joint Cadre.

  1. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officer.
