ORDER
The Government of Gujarat vide their letter no. AIS/16.2017/354541/G dated 24.1.2017 has sent a proposal for fixation of seniority of IAS officers appointed on promotion from Non-SCS quota on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2015. These officers have been appointed to IAS vide GOI Notifications No.14015/06/2016 -AIS-(I)-B (2) dated 30.01.2017.
- The Seniority/year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, as amended vide notification no.14014/4/2011-AIS-I dated 5.5.2016 and other relevant rules. Modified Weightage formula is now as under:-

- The seniority/year of allotment of the officer at SI. No. 3 have been restricted under proviso to the Rule 3(3)(iii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules. 19873.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer: whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 of the Select List of 2015 (Non-SCS) shall be placed below Shri G. T. Pandya, the junior most promotee IAS (Non-SCS category) officer of 2011 batch and above Shri Amrutesh K. Aurangabadkar, senior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch of Gujarat Cadre.
3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 2 to 3 of the Select List of 2015 (Non-SCS) shall be placed below Shri Tushar Dalpatbhai Sumera, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch and above Ms. Stuti Charan, senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Gujarat Cadre.
