ORDER
In compliance with the directions of Hon’ble CAT, Bangalore Bench order dated 8.9.2015 in OA No.706 of 2015 and in consultation with the State Government, this Department has appointed Captain Dr. K. Rajendra to IAS on the basis of inclusion of his name in Review Select List of 2013 vide Notification No. 22012/77/2015-AIS-(I) (B) dated 17.8.2017 and placed at SI. No.10 by adding his name in the Select List of 2013.
- In view of the above and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Karnataka vide their letter no. DPAR 547 SAS 2017 dated 25.11.2017, the seniority/year of allotment of Captain Dr. K. Rajendra have been considered and computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, as amended from time to time and revised order of seniority of promotee IAS officers of Karnataka cadre by placing him below Shri M.K. Sreerangaiah.
- As per relevant seniority rules, weightage formula seniority/year of allotment has been computed as under:-

4.1. As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 10 in the Select List of 2013 shall be placed below Shri M.K. Sreerangaiah, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2010 batch and above Shri Abhiram G. Shankar, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2011 batch of Karnataka cadre. 5. This issues in supersession of this Department’s order of even number dated 22.12.2014. 6. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officer.
