ORDER

Consequent upon declaration of inclusion of Shri Arvind Pal Singh Sandhu as ‘Unconditional’ by UPSC, and appointment to IAS of Punjab Cadre from State Civil Service on the basis of inclusion of his name in the Select List of 2014 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/18/2017-AIS-(I) B dated 19.12.2017 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Punjab vide their letter No. 05/01/2016/IAS(6)/16 dated 02.01.2018, the seniority/year of allotment of Shri Arvind Pal Singh Sandhu has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select list of 2014 shall be placed below Shri Tej Partap Singh Phoolka, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2009 batch (Select List of 2014 – SCS category) and above Shri Kamaldeep S. Sangha, senior most promotee IAS officer of 2009 batch (Non-SCS category) of Punjab cadre.
3. This issues in continuation of this Department’s order of even number dated 27.09.2017.
4. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officer.
