Consequent upon appointment of officers of Tamil Nadu Cadre from State Civil Services to IAS on the on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2014, 2015 and 2016 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/21/2017-AIS-(I) B dated 10.08.2017, 04.09.2017 and 15.12.2017 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Tamil Nadu vide their letter No. 1892/2017-1 dated 16.01.2018, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987. The weightage formula is as under:-

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 10 of the Select List of 2014 shall be placed below Shri P Madhusudhan Reddy, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2011 batch and above Shri S Gopala Sundara Raj, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch of Tamil Nadu cadre.

Chandrakala J U, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch and above Shri Johny Tom Varghese the senior most RR IAS officer of 2014 batch of Tamil Nadu cadre.
