ORDER
Consequent upon declaration of name of Shri Shivpal as ‘Unconditional and Final’ by UPSC, and appointment to IAS of Madhya Pradesh Cadre from State Civil Service on the basis of inclusion of their name in the Select List of 2016 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/13/2017-AIS-(I) B dated 18.01.2017 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Madhya Pradesh vide their letter No. E-1/2/2017/5/1 dated 23.01.2018, the seniority/year of allotment of Shri Shivpal have been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:

* The seniority /year of allotment officers at 16 and 26 of Select List of 2016 is restricted as per proviso to Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules. 1987 which provides that the officer shall not be assigned a year of allotment earlier than the year of allotment assigned to an officer senior to him in that select list or appointed to the service on the basis of an earlier select list.
3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, Shri Shivpal mentioned at SI. No. 16 in the select list of 2016 shall be placed below Shri Amar Pal Singh, a junior most promotee IAS officer of 2009 batch and above Shri Anay Dwivedi, a senior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch of Madhya Pradesh Cadre.
- This issues in continuation of this Department’s order of even number dated 16.06.2017.
