NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the State Governments of Uttar Pradesh and Jammu \& Kashmir, the Central Government hereby accords approval to the proposal for inter-cadre deputation of Shri Rigzian Sampheal, IAS (UP:2003) from Uttar Pradesh cadre to Jammu \& Kashmir cadre for a period of three years on personal grounds from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

1. The Chief Secretary, State Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow – 226001 w.r.t. letter No. 7679/दो-1-2017-4/1(57)/05 dated 29.12.2017 with the request to relieve the officer immediately, under intimation to this Department.
2. The Chief Secretary, State Government of Jammu \& Kashmir, Jammu/Srinagar – 180001 w.r.t letter No. GAD(Ser)/IAS/7/2001 dated 29.01.2018 with the request to provide a copy of the joining report of the officer to this Department. It is also requested to ensure that the officer is relieved immediately at the end of the approved tenure of inter-cadre deputation if not extended by the Competent Authority before the expiry of the deputation tenure. The officer shall be liable to disciplinary action \& break in Service, in case he does not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
3. The Accountant General, State Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow 226001.
4. The Accountant General, State Government of Jammu \& Kashmir, Jammu/Srinagar – 180001 with the request to stop payment of salary to the officer beyond the approved period of deputation.
5. Shri Rigzian Sampheal, IAS (UP:2003) (through the Chief Secretary, State Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow – 226001). You shall be liable to disciplinary action \& break in service in terms of this Department’s OM No. 13017/08/2002-AIS-I dated 14.08.2013 and No. 13017/05/2013-AIS-I dated 11.11.2017, in case you do not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
