ORDER
Consequent upon declaration of name of Shri Kedar Nath Singh as ‘Unconditional and Final’ by UPSC, and appointment to IAS of Uttar Pradesh Cadre from State Civil Service on the basis of inclusion of their name in the Select List of 2016 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/22/2017-AIS-I (B) dated 14.03.2018 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Uttar Pradesh vide their letter No. G1-112/two-1-218-29/1(1)/2017 dated 10.03.2018, the seniority/year of allotment of Shri Kedar Nath Singh have been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:

- Seniority/year of allotment of officers mentioned at SI. No. 1 and SI. No. 16 to 18 in the Select List of 2016 has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS(Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List.2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 7 in the Select List of 2016 shall be placed below Shri Narendra Prasad Pandey, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2010 batch (appointed on the basis of Select List of 2015) and above Shri Pulkit Khare, senior most RR IAS officer of 2011 batch of Uttar Pradesh cadre.
2.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 8 to 14 in the Select List of 2016 shall be placed below Shri Krishna Karunesh, junior most RR IAS officer of 2011 batch and above Shri Raveesh Gupta, senior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch of Uttar Pradesh cadre.
2.3 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 15 to 18 in the Select List of 2016 shall be placed below Shri T.K. Shibu, junior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch and above Ms. Chandni Singh, senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Uttar Pradesh cadre.
- This will supersede this Department’s earlier order of even number dated 07.12.2017.
